Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" painting was our inspiration for our clay pieces this year. 
We learned many clay techniques such as slab constructing and  scoring and used a slip (mud consistency) to join parts together. 
The pieces turned out so nice and we are very proud of them!

In Maths this week, we investigated the properties of 3D shapes.
We cut and folded nets of lots of different 3D shapes and constructed some 3D shapes using cocktail sticks and marshmallows.
We explored the various shapes and counted the faces, vertices and edges.
