We were delighted to welcome Jack Chambers, Minister of State, to Scoil na Naomh Uilig this morning. The Minister was accompanied by Senator Fiona O'Loughlin and Councillor Noel Heavey. Our discussions focussed on road safety in light of new housing developments in our area and the possibility of engaging in the 'Safer Route to School Scheme' in future years. We highlighted the issue of traffic congestion at peak times and the ongoing promotion of walking, scooting and cycling within our school. Thank you to everyone involved.
