The children were given a week to design and craft a raft, from recyclable materials, that would float. 
As an extra challenge, the children used at home materials to test how much weight their rafts could hold. 
So much work went into these for the past week, have a look at our creations down below. 

As part of Friendship Week, Ms. Goulding set 3rd and 4th class a challenge to research the word "friend" in as many different languages as we could. 
Here are some of the languages we researched..

November 8th - 15th 
This week the children worked diligently at home to complete Science Week Projects. 
In 4th class we decided that the project could be:
-An experiment of their choosing 
-A research project on a famous scientist 
-A research project on a science topic
The photos below show that everyone worked extremely hard. 

Our Stars of the Week for October were Kian, Keila, Kate & Peadar. 
These girls and boys participated fully in class, showed gratitude towards both teachers and students and worked so diligently in all subjects.
