Happy Halloween from everyone in the Daffodils!

Well done Ryleigh for your determination in class and positive additute, excellent behaviour and fantastic work in class.

The boys and girls in the Daffodils have been working very hard on their fine and gross motor skills at home. They have been exercising, baking, gardening, creating art pieces and most importantly, having lots of fun! Well done everyone who added to our 'Amazing Work' wall.

We had a pumpkin design competition to decide what our class pumpkin should look like. I was so impressed by the designs that I chose different features from a number of entries, well done to everyone!

We had fun in art today creating our 'Pointillism Pumpkins.' We are really enjoying getting ready for Halloween.

Happy Halloween from everyone in the Daffodils. We are enjoying decorating our classroom for Halloween and had fun making these spooky silhouettes. We practiced our value of patience as these took a few days to finish, well done to everyone!

Brushing up on our mental maths skills by trying out some maths games on the Topmarks website. Our favourite game is the Mental Maths Train.

Well done to Leon, our star of the week! Leon has been working so hard in class and has been playing nicely on the yard with his friends as well as using good manners. 

We have been working very hard on our fine motor skills in class. Have a look at our amazing autumn leaves. We coloured in the leaves using oil pastels and then we carefully cut out each shape and stuck them to black paper.
