What did we need:
Celery 
Clear plastic cups
Red food dye
Water 

We put celery sticks in red food dye and in water .In water and without water.

We noticed that the celery stick without the water was very weak and floppy .

The celery stick with water was stronger.

The celery stick with the food colouring soaked up the red dye and water. 

Liam and Cody were reading a cool book from  our school library about trucks. We decided to go and look at the different types of machines that are being used to help create our Astro Turf Pitch. 
We checked our book and we spotted three different machines on site at the moment - a digger , a dump truck and a roller. 

Ms. Duggan told us that at the amount they are putting on gravel at the moment. Before this stage they put down pipes to drain the pitch. Later on they will be putting down the astro turf pitch which is made from fake or artificial grass.
