The Daffodils did a fantastic job on their art work this week. We made hot air balloons with the children in them. The boys and girls also worked very hard on their free writing prompt 'If I could fly in a hot air balloon....' Great work by everyone!

Well done to Ryleigh for fantastic work this week, especially on his writing. 

In keeping up with the theme of space, the children have created wonderful dioramas of the solar system, where we learned the correct order of the planets from the sun. We had lots of fun making these!

We have been learning all about the solar system and the planets with Múinteoir Daniela, who has been on on placement with us for the past few weeks. The boys and girls carried out fantastic research in their groups and also completed individual projects at home, which everyone did an amazing job on. Have a look at the impressive display of work from the children in the Daffodils. Everyone should be very proud of themselves for the creativity and the effort put into each project to make sure it was well researched and that the information was well presented.
