This week we've been learning all about the wind in Room 2. We know that wind is just air that's moving. We also learned a song called Blow Wind, Blow. We learned even more when we went outside on this windy day and used all of our senses to experience the wind in full. It was lots of fun!

We have been learning about 2-D shapes in the Shamrocks for the last couple of weeks. We have made our own pictures by cutting out shapes using templates. We have also been learning more and more about numbers and how we make them. Maths is fun!

We are all feeling energised and excited to be back after Christmas! We have been learning about a new theme in Aistear, The Vet. We have been looking after the animals by giving them vaccinations and operations and letting them rest in the recovery area! We have also been designing posters for the vet and constructing our very own vet's clinic.
