Hi again! So every year, as we know, tadpoles hatch from frogspawn. Before the lockdown, I had been busy trying to find frogspawn to show you but to no avail! Now, frogs, tadpoles and frogspawn are all protected creatures and it is illegal to remove them from the wild, except for teachers. We are allowed to take a small sample to show our classes. So, yesterday a good friend of mine told me where she had seen tadpoles and luckily it was within 2km of my house! I set off with a jam jar and net and brought a small sample home. I set up a new home for the tadpoles using a plastic container, some rocks for shelter and some water and grass/moss from the river. The tadpoles have settled in very well. They are at the stage now where their tails have grown but there is no sign of their legs yet. At this stage they still have gills to breathe under water. As they get bigger they develop lungs to let them breathe on land. As they develop more I will post more pictures. There are about 20 of them so if anyone would like to suggest some names for them, please send them on.

Hello everyone, just a short note to show you some starling eggs I found in the garden. Also I have started thinking about how to decorate my May tree, here are some ideas
Hi everyone, hope you had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. Mia has written a lovely poem that she would like to share with you!
Hi. It’s me again. if you wanna make a skittles rainbow experiment here is how you do it.
You will need: skittles, water and a plate with sides so the water wont spill. First arrange the skittles around the sides then pour in the water and wait (this might take a minute) and after you can still eat the skittles! Enjoy! From Amelia Hello to all The Shamrocks!!Welcome back after the Easter holidays. I hope you are all well and doing your best to get back into a routine and helping out at home. Some of our classmates have sent on some photos and messages of what they have been up to. Take a look below. Hi. It’s me Amelia. I hope you had a great Easter. Over the past to weeks I managed to create a crystal, made a board game, I taught my dog new tricks, painted eggs, decorated cake, had an Easter egg hunt and started to paint more often. I really miss you guys I hope we see each other soon! Good morning everybody;) I am very proud of Mila for making delicious and beautiful sushi yesterday. With a little help from her dad! Hello Ms Cluxton!
We hope you and your family had a great Easter break. We have been quite busy playing, making stuff like robots from Easter egg boxes, lots of painting and we made cookies all on our own! They were yummy! Enjoy! Conor and Aoibhinn! Hi teacher, Ryan here. I have been very busy with my school work. I really liked making the bingo game for my family. I have kept busy by baking cookies, playing board games, playing in my garden, learning to play the guitar and watching out for the space station. Can't wait to see all my friends again. Mila was cooking a rhubarb and oats cake today. We made clay and we put a hands on it, and we made a nice family portrait We will send picture tomorrow;) Lots of hugs from Mila Joseph and his brothers made some cool Easter art, check it out!
Mia is really missing school and all her friends. She has kept herself busy with her arts and crafts and getting plenty of exercise. She has added a few pictures of what she has been getting up to. Her favourite is the 3d jigsaw she made to hold all her pens. Thanks to Ali she has a great big box set of books which she is really enjoying. Her dog Kassy is getting plenty of walks in and needs more naps now. ️ We decided to make buns for homework today! Attached are some photos of our work!!!
Hope you enjoy! Conor and Aoibhinn Hi everyone. Hope today is going well and you have managed to get some fresh air before the rain arrives! The weather forecast looks good for the weekend though so hopefully we can get out for a little while to enjoy the sun. I have been busy watching the birds in my garden. I have seen blackbirds, robins, sparrows and starlings, all really busy building nests and soon we will see their chicks. Remember to keep an eye out for any eggshells that the birds might drop outside your house. The adult birds clear out the eggshells after the chicks hatch and drop them far from the nest to trick predators that might be lurking around!!
Joseph and Lily are keeping well and keeping busy. Joseph is enjoying 'Home School' and working hard with his brothers. Lily has been busy in the kitchen (she made pizzas for dinner yesterday) and playing around with VR (google an animal you like on a phone and, if it’s available, click on View in 3D). The animal will be in your house! She’s also working on a cartoon in Muvimi Here are some photo's of Lego that Robyn has made each day for competitions that she enters daily with Lego Shows Ireland. She has made the final 3 times in the past 2 weeks out of hundreds of entries. The final picture is of the Lego Robyn entered today. It's the Solar System which she found help from her brothers book. Today's theme is space. Hi teacher,
