Hi Ms Cluxton,
Amelia here. I would like to show you all what I have been up to over the days. I used water colours, I made donuts (with help from my brother), I made my own T-shirt, and I read some more Tom Gates! I got a new skipping rope, I made a special flower for my mom, I painted, I made tiny food, and did my homework.

Hello everyone. Some exciting news....some of our tadpoles have started to grow legs! Thanks to Mia for naming one of them Splash. Jelly and Frog Hopper were named by Lilí and Fionn. Their back legs grow first, see if you can spot them.

Also some of our classmates have been really busy- Megan celebrated her 8th birthday,Mila drew this cool picture of Liam Neeson for the Art Competition, Ryan created a funny comic strip about Big Foot and Jewel researched some great facts about peacocks and used lovely cursive writing and found a peacock feather! I wonder does she have a pet peacock at home?
Enjoy!

Hello to all the Shamrocks! Just a little note to say that I am really sad that we won't be back in our classroom before September. We have had some great times in Room 19 and I don't know what September will bring. You have all been amazing, adapting to having to work at home, sharing devices and work spaces with your family. It is so hard not to be able to see you in person but your pictures and messages bring a smile to my face every time. Now don't tell the other second classes that I said this, but you are the best second class in the school!! I know that you will keep up with your school work and keep in contact with me. We still have another two months to go and we can take a break in July and August. So keep up the great work and be kind to your family too. Even though we are not working in the classroom with our school rules to guide us, use those rules at home, especially 'Be fair, be friendly' and most importantly ' Always do your best'. I hope that you use this time to develop some independent work skills and help out at home. Keep in safe contact with any elderly people you know and remember our School Motto- Uile le Chéile- All Together!

Hi, my friends I miss you so much. Hope youhave a great day and you're staying safe.
Ever wondered how to make a rose out of play dough well here is the right place.

1. Mould the play dough to make it very soft.
2. Cut the dough into 4 5 6 or 7 at least. Join them together
3. Carefully roll them to make a rose shape.
4. Open up the pedals carefully to open up the flower.

And that is how to make a rose out of playdough only 4 steps and done. Easy. Bye and thanks
Esther

Hi everyone, hope you are all dodging the showers and enjoying the first day of Summer. Marcel has been so active this week, see what else he's been up to. Mia wrote a wonderful May Day poem and has named one of the tadpoles Splash! Ali drew a beautiful May Day tree and wrote a fabulous poem. Lennon says Hi and spent a lot of time writing and creating his May Day Poem, the results speak for themselves!
If you have any other pictures of May Day poems, trees, art decorations send them on. Have a great bank holiday weekend!

A May Day Poem by Lennon Jude Maguire,

Mayday is the day to go outside and play,
While we look forward to the Summer we will dance and sing,
With our ribbons around the May pole we do not worry about a thing,
The sun is in the sky and the bees fly by,
The flowers are all blooming, pigs are happy in their sty,
Everyone loves summer, especially this guy.
