Hopefully everyone is safe and well. I know it is a very strange time for everyone but we are all doing our best to get through this. I hope you all enjoyed some chocolate over the Easter and didn't eat too much of it in one go!!!! If everything was back to normal we would be returning to school today, ready to get on with things. Unfortunately we have to keep doing our best to help everyone get through this difficult time. Parents will have received notification through the Aladdin App about some work we have set out for the children in third class. We We are posting it here for anyone who is having difficulty accessing the app or for anyone who does not have the app downloaded. We would ask that children make an effort to complete the work where possible. We understand that it is a difficult time and parents can only do so much in this situation. Many homes have more than one child meaning it can be even more difficult to spend time working on homework with children. We just want to let you you know whatever you can get through with your child/children is fine. Some days will work better than others. Not everyone has a laptop/computer/printer available so just make do with what you have. Children prove to be very resourceful when needed and parents can be too. When you see the Art suggestions, by all means sketch out the outline if you haven't a printer if you don't have paper then maybe use a cereal box? If you don't get through some of the work then don't worry. Keeping some structure in the day will do everyone good. If things are not going to plan then just leave it, walk away, come back later if you think you can. Tomorrow is always another day! With all that said, please find below the work we are suggesting for the children of third class to try and complete in some way. All the best, and be sure to keep safe! Mr. O Toole |
