We had a special Star of the Week this week based around Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Rinne an duine seo iarracht mhór i ngach ábhar nuair a bhíomar ag obair sa bhaile go háirithe i nGaeilge. Mar sin bhuaigh sí an teideal 'cainteoir agus réalt na seachtaine'. Maith thú!. Hi everyone,
Below are some samples of Art work completed between Christmas and Midterm break. The class have been working very hard and have made a huge effort with their online learning all throughout the past 6 weeks. In this time we learned about potatoes and drew our own gardens, learned about the Normans and created castles, learned about the Italian artist Archimboldo who used foods to create portraits and made our own examples, made Valentines art and created other mini projects in a number of different subject areas. Some examples of these are included below. There were far too many to post them all so I have selected a few from each lesson. Enjoy checking them out below and see can you find your own! Below is some of the Art completed in the run up to Christmas. You can see our window decorated with paperchain snowmen, snowflakes and our very own handprint Christmas Tree.
After that you can see a before and after shot of our collaborative bottle cap art activity. Thank you to everyone who helped by sending in lots of bottle caps and I think the end result certainly made it all worthwhile! Well done to all of the class who completed interesting projects about volcanoes and earthquakes before the Christmas Holidays. Mia and Josh even went so far as to make their own volcanoes which they brought to class and erupted for us all to see. Check out the videos below. Well done all! |
