Hi all,
I would just like to welcome everyone back after our extended break from school. By now you will all be aware of the new procedures which are in place this year in relation to many aspects of school life. We thank you for your cooperation with these procedures so far and know it will continue in the weeks ahead.
PE will be on Monday this year so please ensure the children are wearing their tracksuit on this day. To echo Ms. Duggan's message from earlier in the week, all children should bring a raincoat to school each day. We will be going outside for breaktimes if there is light rain and PE will be outdoors whenever possible this year also.
As we will not have homework for the first month the children will not be required to bring things in and out of school (except for their lunch boxes and pencil cases). To assist with monitoring of work, the children will be using a limited amount of copies at the beginning of the year and will do all of their written work into the same copy. As a result many of the copies were returned home last Thursday. We ask you to keep these safe as we have limited space in the classroom to store all of the books and I will give the children plenty of notice when they need to bring extra copies to school.
I look forward to a great year ahead. Please contact me if you require any further information.
Mr. Lalor
