Here in Room 8 we have three classroom pets - Mario, Bunny and Sticky. These are our stick insect friends! We give them ivy and bramble to eat and a few drops of water every few days.

We had lots of fun during our theme of construction. Lots of constructions were built using sand, blocks, bricks and natural materials. We learned about many different types of houses (bungalows, detached, semi-detached and terraced houses) and about the various parts of a house (roof, windows, bricks, chimneys). 
During our oral language lessons we took part in various activities based on 'The D.I.Y. Store' and now we are all experts in D.I.Y!

We had lots of fun in October, particularly with our Halloween Aistear activities and Witch Walk!
