Seachtain na nGaeilge
We have had a jammed pack week with plenty of fun filled and cultural activities to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge. We have been busy welcoming Cumann na bhFiann to host a Club Óige for 3rd - 6th class pupils, taking part in Tráth na gCeist, welcoming some Irish musicians to our middle assembly, dancing in our Céilí and of course celebrating our Cainteoirí na Seachatine.
Our school will be closed on Friday, 17th March to mark St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. School will reopen on Monday, 21st March.

Dé Chéadaoin we welcomed Ella and Aria's grandad Joe and his friends Donie and Larry., who played some traditional songs for us. Joe showed us the feadóg stáin agus an feadóg mór. He also showed us a feadóg that was given to him by his Dad. We had never seen anything like it!
Larry played the Jaws Harp and the Bodhrán and Donie played guitar.
Bhí am iontach againn. Uile le chéile
