STEM was visible all around the school this week for Science Week. Unfortunately, our Senior Infants' trip to the Riverbank for a science show was cancelled due to storm Debi. However, that certainly did not stop Science happening in SNU.
We had absorption experiments with nappies, exploration of how to mix oil and water and create a lava lamp, building of houses which could withstand an earthquake, designing of paper and tinfoil boats to cross a basin of water as well as exploring where rain comes from, to name just a few.
Thank you to our wonderful staff for facilitating these learning experiences and hopefully sparking the interest of our future scientists.
