Principal's Welcome
Fáilte to Scoil Na Naomh Uilig’s Website
Thank you for visiting the Scoil Na Naomh Uilig website, I hope you will take the time to explore our site and return time and again. Our website is an important resource and will keep the school community updated on activities and events in our school.
In Scoil Na Naomh Uilig we all work together to ensure our children have positive and enjoyable learning experiences, in a vibrant and welcoming environment. We constantly strive to provide best practice in education for the children attending our school. The school has a staff of 46 teachers, 24 Special Needs Assistants, a caretaker, 2 secretaries and a nurse. This talented team support the achievement of high standards in all aspects of school life: curriculum, sport, music, art, science, information technology and much more.
We respect all of our children for their uniqueness and we promote inclusion, tolerance and understanding throughout our school.
Our pupils work hard in school; they are a credit to both their teachers and parents. Extra curricular activities are also a big part of school life.
We have several annual events and fundraisers that run throughout the school year. Our Seachtain na Gaeilge, our Maths Week, our Halloween Witches Walk and Easter Mad Hatter’s Parade are enjoyed by one and all.
We are thankful to all who make Scoil Na Naomh Uilig the vibrant, inclusive school that it is – our staff, our pupils, our parents, the Board of Management, our Parents Association and the wider school community.
