Congratulations to our Penmanship Competition winners. There were excellent entries!
We are running the Penmanship Competition for the senior classes (4th, 5th and 6th) again this year. It is a competition to coincide with the 4th class and their efforts to achieve their pen licences, the 6th class departing the school in June, as well as to give the children in the senior classes the opportunity to showcase their handwriting in a creative and fun way.
The following is the proposal:
* Each child is asked to present an A4 sheet with their best handwriting. The entries can be creative with artwork also.
They can choose one of the following as their writing piece:
- A poem
- Lyrics from my favourite song
- An extract from my favourite book
- A letter to a special person in my life
- Favourite memory of my time in SNU (6th class)
* Entries to class teachers by Friday, 26th April and forwarded to Room 10 on this day please.
* Prizes per stream - Certificate of achievement and a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing per stream. Prizes will be awarded at the Senior Assembly.
* Entries on display in the school, on notice board for the month of May.
