Chess 2025

Pupils from 3rd and 4th class attend a chess competition in Kilcullen where they were able to put their chess skills to the test. Mr. Maher was delighted with the group and their participation in the event. Congratulations and well done to all involved. It is lovely to see the interest in chess amongst our pupils.

Congratulations to our 3rd class chess team who took part in ‘Féile Fichelle’ in Naas on 7th February 2024. This was SNU’s first time participating in this event and the team received a framed certificate to mark the occasion. Thank you to our pupils and Mr. Maher for their hard work in preparation and to Ms. O’Brien for supporting our participation.
