Anti-Bullying and friendship week 2021
During the week of 1st - 5th November, the whole school community focussed on anti-bullying and friendship. Guided by a theme everyday, classes explored these themes at their own class level and understanding. These themes were announced daily by a pupil from a senior class on the intercom.
Many classes were very creative, making posters and signs, writing poetry and learning songs to highlight the important messages from the week.
Our assembly on Wednesday focussed on friendship. Good Friend certificates were announced, one of our 5th classes sang and signed 'What a Wonderful World' and we learned the Lámh signs for 'friend' and 'Do you want to play?'
Well done to all the staff and pupils on a very enjoyable and important week in Scoil na Naomh Uilig. Enjoy below some of the work completed around the school.
