Today Scoil na Naomh Uilig took part in the national day of commemoration to celebrate the leaders who took part in the Uprising of Easter 1916. Proceedings concluded with a rendition of Amhrán na bhFiann.
Scoil na Naomh Uilig officially opened our new school library today! The new facility, which was custom-designed, was funded from the proceeds of the school’s hugely successful Strictly Come Dancing competition last year. Roseanne Fox and Dónal Daly who were crowned Strictly Champions last year were on hand to cut the ribbon and declare the library officially opened. The new library boasts of over 3,000 books and an ICT area.
