We also revised the topic of Mé Féin in Irish. Many of the children have begun using pen to complete their work this week and the photos they have sent are very impressive. Well done everybody, have a lovely weekend!
It has been another busy week for the Violets. This week we began learning about 3D shapes in Maths, we learned about Cúchulainn in SESE, continued work on our novel and wrote persuasive arguments about the pros and cons of TV. We also completed tessellation artwork and revised some of our Gaeilge nathanna cainte. In addition to all of the above it was wonderful to hear that many of the children are busy at home helping with DIY projects, gardening,, baking, getting lots of exercise and helping with younger siblings. These activities and responsibilities are all so important, well done everybody. Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
This week the children from the Violets class have been working hard on mapmaking skills, learning about the artist Frank Stella and celebrating Poetry Day Ireland 2020. Take a look at some of their hard work from this week Well done everybody, have a lovely weekend!
