We dressed up as a character from our favourite book. We also brought in our favourite book and told the class a little bit about it.
We celebrated St. Brigid's Day by learning how to paper weave. We created this colourful St. Brigid's Day cloak.
There was great excitement in the Primroses today as we welcomed some of our grandparents into our school. Our grandparents enjoyed a lovely prayer service at which we sang songs and said some prayers. Then they visited our classroom where we got to show them some of our schoolwork. We read a poem to them and then chatted about when they were in school. We really enjoyed our morning and would like to say a big thanks to those who came to visit.
During our guided reading sessions we enjoy taking some time out to read with our friends. We enjoy mixing with friends from other groups and listening to them read their book to us. We take turns reading to each other and sometimes we even swap books and challenge ourselves to read a book we've never tried before.
