Wishing you all fantastic summer holidays. The children should be very proud of all their achievements in first class. Included are some pics from Sports day,our trip to Linear Park to see the yarn bombing, investigating mini beasts with pooters and harvesting out potatoes we planted in Spring. Thank you for your kind gifts and sentiments in the last few days.Looking forward to seeing you all in September. Slán tamall!
We have been so busy in term 2 and 3 that I'm only getting to post now about all our hard work. We enjoyed our Puppet Show about Little Red Riding Hood, World Book Day, Seachtain na Gaeilge, Lá Glas , Europe Day and our school tour to Wallaby Woods. Ms.O' Lone treated us to baking bread and meditation. We played drums from around the world including the Bodhrán and minded some tadpoles for their mams and dads in Spring. We planted potatoes and vegetables and hope to harvest them before the end of June. In Science we explored Magnetism and Circuits and in Maths we played Maths games and had fun making 3-D shapes out of pasta and marsh mallows. Finally, we always have fun in Aistear, especially in the Post Office, Supermarket and The Restaurant.
