Big congratulations to everyone involved in the school musical from all at the Oaks especially to our classmates who were involved. A huge effort was made by all of the children and staff and the result was an amazing evenings entertainment for all who attended. Well done all!! 

It has been a busy start to the new year in the Oaks.
Grandparents Day was a huge success last week and we again would like to thank all of the grandparents who visited us and entertained us with stories about their school days.
We have lots of our class involved in preparations for the school musical which takes place before the midterm. A huge amount of work has been put in by all the teachers and children involved and we wish them all the best next week.
4th classes have begun dance lessons as part of our work in PE and are really enjoying this at present. 
We are in the middle of testing for our Science Blast project at the moment also. Details for our visit to the RDS will follow shortly but we are really looking forward to displaying our project on the  day. A quick thank you also to all the parents/adults who have been willing participants in the testing stage!!
Finally we are also currently preparing for our music show which will take place in early March. Each of the 4th classes will be singing, playing tin whistle, guitar and dancing so a great morning's entertainment is in store.
