Hello to everyone in the Daisies! I hope you have all had a lovely week, even if it was a short week. Thank you for keeping me up to date with all of your news and fun activities at home. You all sound like you are making the most of the time with your families which is great! Send on any photos you have for the blog or any messages you would like to send to your friends in the Daisies.
I found a nice story for you that links to our value of 'Perspective' this week. The story is called 'Who is Melvin Bubble?' by Nick Bruel. This story shows how people can have difference perspectives and how it is important to listen to other opinions and see things from someone else's point of view.
Have a lovely weekend everyone,
Ms Hassett

Let's see what our friends are up to!
Happy Birthday Janet!
Janet celebrated her birthday last week and had a wonderful day at home with her family by having a mini pool party and barbeque with her uncle and cousins. She got lots of lovely toys and clothes as presents and an amazing unicorn ice-cream cake! Janet was also treated on the morning on her birthday with 'birthday cake' ice- cream for breakfast and pizza for dinner. Yum!! She has been making the most of the amazing weather by spending it outside having fun with her family. We hope you had a lovely birthday Janet, from everyone in the Daisies! :)
Sweta
Sweta has been busy in her garden this week making sure all of her plants are watered and taken care of. She has been keeping up to date with her work this week and has been out enjoying the sunshine and going for walks too with her family. Well done for keeping your handwriting so neat and for continuing to practice your cursive writing! Sweta told me to say hello to everyone in the Daisies and to let them know she has made some more of her delicious scones that she gave us the recipe for. She can't wait to see everyone again in September! :)
Yacouba
Yacouba has had a busy week and really enjoyed the bank holiday weekend! On Monday 1st of June he celebrated 'National Children's Day' (Medzinárodný deň detí). Yacouba celebrated this with his family by taking part in a treasure hunt at home that his mom organised. To get all the pieces of the treasure map, Yacouba had to solve some hard problems. When he found all the pieces of the treasure map he quickly found the treasure with his brothers, which was Pokémon cards! They had lots of fun at home! Yacouba has also been working hard at his maths and is getting much better at problem solving. Super work! :) Yacouba misses everyone in the Daisies and is looking forward to seeing you all again.
Rebecca
Rebecca has been busy being creative at and has been making interesting characters from toilet paper rolls. She now has 12 characters and is soon going to begin making homes for them to live in. That is a very creative idea Rebecca! She also told me all about her flower pressing activity. She has a flower press but was also using heavy books to flatten different flowers from her garden and created some art pieces using these flowers. They are beautiful, well done Rebecca! Rebecca has been practicing her rollerblading at home and likes to skate near her estate with her sisters! She wants to say hello to everyone in the Daisies and she can't wait to see you all again! :)
Kristine
Kristine has enjoyed another busy week of activities at home. She is keeping up with her arts and crafts and made some interesting pieces that she wanted to show everyone! She has also done some mindful colouring pages for summer and enjoyed learning about water safety this week. Well done for keeping busy Kristine and for showing us your activities. :)
Katie
Katie would like to say hi to everyone and let them know she had a lovely day in the park at the weekend. She is really enjoying spending time outside and going for walks in the sunshine!
Lexi
Lexi has had another busy week at home. She really enjoyed learning about water safety. Lexi got a new basketball net and has been outside practising her skills everyday. Last weekend she was very excited to watch the Space X and NASA shuttle launch to the International Space Station! She had so much fun watching them prepare to launch and she learned so much about astronauts and space. On Sunday Lexi watched as they finally made it to the Space Station after 19 hours... Wow!! Lexi wants to say hello to all of her friends and she is looking forward to seeing them again.
