As part of our Active School Flag Initiative in the school, we took part in Operation Transformation’s –10@10 Activity – 10 minutes of exercise on the 10th of February at 10am. The children had great fun exercising and we will be encouraging children to try these exercises at home and in school over the school year. Here are a few pictures from our 10@10 Assemblies throughout the year and 10@10 in our classrooms. Active Leaders - Break and Lunch times:
Children that are on our Active Flag committee are designated to be active leaders in the lines at small break and lunch times. The children stand at the front of the line and demonstrate exercises - e.g Jumping jacks, running on the spot. This gets the children active when the children are waiting in their lines for their teacher after the bell rings. Cycle On Wednesday
