Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Parents Association is running a clothing collection in conjunction with Bag2School Ireland.
By getting involved in our Bag2School collection you have an opportunity to sort through your wardrobes and donate any unwanted textiles in the bag provided.
This can include adult and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, bags and teddies.
Please NO Duvets, Pillows, Curtains, Bedding, Towels or End-Of-Life Clothing
This will raise funds for the school and The LauraLynn House will also receive an additional 10% from Bag2School. The LauraLynn House is the only Children’s Hospice in Ireland.
In addition it will raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse.
Bags will be distributed to each child today, 4th October and should be brought back to school on Monday 8th or Tuesday 9th October. Please try to fill as many bags as you can, don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well! You can return clothes in any kind of bag.
Many thanks for helping us with this unique fundraising opportunity!
