Dear Parents/Guardians                
Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable and restful mid-term break!
Swimming starting tomorrow for Ms. O’Brien and Miss Kelly’s 3rd class. The cost of swimming for your child is €30 for 6 sessions which includes transport.  This amount must be paid in full. If you have difficulty with payment please contact the office.
General Purpose Fees 2016/2017
Thank you to everyone who has paid the G.P. Fee.  All fees should now be paid in full. If you have not paid please contact the office immediately to make an appointment to see Ms Duggan.

 
Football/Camogie Training
Football and Camogie training has now finished for the winter and will resume in February/March.

Parent/Teacher Meetings will take place for Snr Infant– 6th Classes on Tuesday 29th & Wednesday 30th November. Your child’s class teacher is sending a note home giving details and time of your meeting. Meetings will be no longer than 10 min. Your attendance is essential for your child’s education.
Shoe Box Appeal Final day for the return of boxes is Tuesday next November 15th. Please read leaflet carefully with regard to what items are allowed to be included. All items should be new. Many thanks again for your support and generosity.

 

Drama Classes ­–The Kildare Youth Theatre drama project “Crooked Mice” are starting their weekly drama sessions this Saturday 12th November at 12noon in the school hall.  It’s €2 per workshop and open to all children from 7 to 13 years.  Contact Peter Hussey on   087  2759420
Vision & Hearing Screening Forms – reminder to those classes having vision and hearing screening to return forms to class teacher as soon as possible

 
Reminder - Personalised Christmas Cards
Tomorrow, Friday November 11th  is the last day to order your child’s personalised Christmas cards. 

 
Cake Sale
The Parents Association raised just over €1,000 at the cake sale. Thanks to the Parents Association for running it so successfully again this year.

FREE Workshops for Parents – we have been notified by Kildare County Library of 2 two FREE workshops for parents of 2-6year olds..  Further details available on the school’s website and on our notice board outside the school.

IMPORTANT NOTICE –
 2 SCHOOL CLOSURES
 
In-Service half-Day for Diocese
The children will go home early on Thursday 24th November at 12.30pm to facilitate an In-Service Day for the Diocese. 
 
IN-SERVICE DAY – SCHOOL CLOSED MONDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2017. The school will be CLOSED on Monday 27th February 2017 to facilitate training for teachers in the new Primary Language Curriculum.
