Christmas Carol Service: We are having our annual Christmas Carol Service on 19th December.
When we were at our rehearsal yesterday it was very evident that the hall was full. For health & safety purposes, unfortunately, there is no room for parents to attend this year. However, we are inviting the Parents Association and the Board of Management to represent you.
Pupils Unwell!! We have a high proportion of children that are unwell at the moment! There is a nasty virus doing the rounds! If you feel that your child is coming down with something or is unwell in any way we would ask that you keep them at home until they are fully better. Thank you for your co-operation.
Santa’s visit to the school!! There was great excitement for Santa’s visit and all the children were thrilled to see him. Santa brought the money collected from our school and brought it to Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Dublin. Many thanks to everyone for your support.
Reminder: Our annual Christmas Performance/Show will take place on Monday 16th December at 9.15am in the main hall. As only Junior Infants, 1st, 3rd and 5th classes take part in the performance, only parents of these classes are invited. This ensures there is enough space for all. Teachers will be in contact regarding what to wear etc over the next few weeks.
SAFETY NOTICE DURING WORKS
The staff parking will be further reduced next week which will necessitate staff having to park at the back of the school. Please remind your children to take extra care when arriving and leaving school.
Yard Supervision in the mornings - the school grounds are only supervised from 8.35am in the mornings.
Afternoon: The set down area is only for parents who have a parking permit.
I would appeal to parents/guardians to remind your children to exit the school yard at the end of the school day in an orderly and respectful manner. In conjunction with the school rules, please ask them to use kind hands, kind feet and kind words.
Thank you for your co-operation with the above.
