School Carol Service
Our Christmas Carol Service will take place on
Tuesday 20th December 9.30am in the school hall. All children have permission to wear a Santa hat and /or a Christmas jumper. Parents/Guardians welcome to attend.
Enrolments for September 2017
Please note that if you have a child starting school next September you should go to the Parish Office and fill out the enrolment form indicating your choice of school immediately.
Christmas Annuals
A limited number of Christmas annuals are still available for pupils in junior & senior infants and 1st/2nd class and cost €4 each.
Safety: personal items should not be brought into the school. If children do bring items to school with them, they are at the parents own risk. Children should follow school protocols. The school cannot be held responsible for personal items.
Christmas Plays
If your child is participating in a play in the school and you wish their sibling(s) to attend, you must send a note into their teacher giving permission for them to go. If this note is not given, siblings will not be allowed to attend. Please do not come to the front window requesting their attendance. Times as follows:
Thursday 15th First Class 2pm.
Friday 16th. Junior Infants Miss Byrne 9.35am.
Junior Infants Miss Kenny 11am
Junior Infants Miss Bergin 11.15am
5th Classes 1.15pm.
Monday 19th. 3rd Classes 1.30pm

Kildare Children & Young People’s Services Committee are facilitating a Parents Plus Adolescent Programme, which will be an 8 week course taking place every Friday morning from 3rd February to 7th April in NEWBRIDGE PRIMAY CARE CENTRE from 10 am to 12.30 pm for parents of 11-16 year olds. Another website which is a commercial enterprise but has not been validated by the school BeSecureOnline.co.uk provide a free online safety guide for Parents, Teachers, Kids and Teenagers.
Both website offer guidelines for Under 6’s, Under 11’s and Under 16’s.Instragram, Snap, Facebook & Gaming explained.
