The World Health Organisation recommends that children and youth aged 5–17 should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity daily. We will be encouraging all children to try to achieve this 60 minutes through 'Active' travel to school, active fun activities during school, active yard time and active homework after school. Please encourage and help your child, where possible, to engage in a positive way in our Active Schools week and simply 'Get Active' and have some fun!
