TUSLA- End of year report
As you are aware, every school is obliged to send an end of year report to TUSLA regarding absenteeism. When your child is absent from school, you as a parent/guardian, are required to give a reason for absence. If your child has missed 20 days or more during the school year, regardless of the reason for absence, they will be included in the report. The reason for absence that you have given the school will be included in the report also. If no reason for absence has been given, the absence will be included in the report as 'unexplained'.
You will be notified on the Aladdin app or by letter, if your child's name is included in the report. Please do not ring the school office with regard to this matter. If you have any questions, you can e-mail the office at office@snu.ie F.A.O. Grace Heavey or go to www.tusla.ie for further information.

School Reports
School reports will be made available on the Aladdin App to parents/guardians on June 18th. In order to receive your child’s school report please ensure you have the Aladdin App downloaded on your mobile phone. For this year only if you wish to receive your child’s report by post you need to send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to the class teacher.

Dogs on Campus: Please be reminded that for health & safety purposes, dogs are not permitted on the school grounds. Please leave dogs at home. Thank you.

Bicycles and Scooters: If your son or daughter comes to school on a bicycle or scooter please ensure they have a lock for it and are able to use it.  Bicycles and Scooters are left in the school yard at your own risk and the school cannot be responsible for them.

Pupil Numbers for classes in Scoil na Naomh Uilig for next year.
At the moment we are organising our classes & teachers for next year. Teaching jobs are sanctioned by the Department of Education based on the pupil population. It is very important to us and we work very hard to retain our pupils. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could give us plenty of advance notice if you are planning to move from this area.

Thank you for your co-operation with the above.
