We have had a great first week in February here in The Snowdrops! Even though we are all still learning at home, the boys and girls celebrated St. Brigid's Day by learning about the story of Brigid, how she was a kind & caring person, and doing lots of beautiful Art for Brigid and Spring! We learned about Length and Height in Maths and how to measure things at home. We sorted our toys from shortest to tallest and other fun Maths challenges like measuring our beds and tables to see which was longer! We also learned about Electricity and found things in our homes which use electricity.
Our class is also doing a 'February Fitness' Challenge. Teacher has challenged us to try to get outside once a day for some fresh air. We can take part in the challenge by getting out to play, going for a walk, or going on our scooter or bike for a few minutes. Taking a break from school work is important and getting fresh air and exercise helps our brains & bodies to grow stronger and healthier! Take a look at some of our wonderful work...
