I hope everyone is keeping well. I am really enjoying hearing about all you have been doing at home and seeing pictures you have sent in. Some great work being done and fun being had at home from what I can see. I know that some children and parents may be feeling anxious at the moment as we have never been in this situation before and there is alot of uncertainty about when we will return to school. Take each day as it comes and make sure to do activities that you enjoy each day.
Mojo from our Class Dojo account has shared a very simple breathing exercise with me, which is very calming and is helpful if you feel worried about anything. He also sent me a picture for you to use if you are ever having a bad day, which everyone has sometimes.

Now let's see what our class have been up to!
Hello from Matthew!
Matthew is definitely making the most of the sunshine with his family. Check out his cool sunglasses! - Plenty to choose from when he is chilling outside with his brother and sister. He misses all his friends but is doing lots of fun activities at home. and is keeping up with his homework too. He enjoyed exploring capacity this week! Matthew had a lovely Easter and got lots of Easter eggs and treats to enjoy! Yum! He has also been building lots of Lego designs and wanted to show everyone his Harry Potter Knight Bus. I'm sure all the Harry Potter experts in the class recognise it! Thanks for keeping us updated Matthew, enjoy the sunshine!
Chef Rebecca!
Well done to Rebecca for the delicious rice krispie buns she made. I hope you enjoyed that activity!
Working hard!
Lexi did a great job on her work this week and liked learning about water and capacity. She also made a lovely gratitude box using coloured paper, markers and smiley face stickers. Well done Lexi!
Hello from Maci!
Maci is enjoying seeing all her friends on the blog as she is really missing school and playing with everyone! She is busy at home doing activities and keeping up with her work. She wanted to show everyone her gratitude jar that she designed by painting her container and sticking jewels on it. Great job Maci!
Chef Jayden
Who is enjoying the baking homework? Jayden certainly is and made these delicious rice krispie buns for his family. He got lots of help from Freddie and Daisy when he was making them. I think they have done an amazing job! Well done guys!
Yacouba is busy at home
Yacouba has been enjoying the capacity activities so far and has been keeping busy at home with his little brothers. He has been practicing his handwriting and cutting skills at home and he made a lovely family picture with different shapes and colours that everyone in his family added to. It looks great! Yacouba has also been remembering to water his plant each day and is taking good care of it. His little brothers are being super helpers with all the activities, well done boys!
Bird watching and Baking
Sweta wants to show everyone the birdhouse she made last year. She got a lovely surprise when she checked it and found a new family of robins had moved in and that there were 4 baby robins after hatching from their eggs! Those birds are very lucky to live in such a lovely house. Sweta is also joining the class baking club at the moment and has made a delicious chocolate and blueberry cake!
Hello from Rebecca!
Rebecca is enjoying being at home with her brother and sisters and is busy helping mum around the house, washing dishes and helping to do laundry. She has also been a super helper chef at home and loves baking and making pizza. Yum! Rebecca has been making the most of the good weather and likes making daisy chains from the daisies that she collects on her walks. Her favourite thing to do at the moment is to make a den in the garden and chill out there with her teddies! She has also been adding to her gallery every day with lots of lovely art and she paints as often as she can. Some really beautiful designs, you should be very proud of yourself! Rebecca is missing all of her friends and can't wait to see everyone again!
Hello from Sophie!
Sophie is keeping busy at home by baking and doing lots of art activities, which she wanted to show her to her friends. They look fantastic Sophie, you have some very creative ideas! She misses school and all her friends but she is enjoying doing fun activities at home too!
Hello from Wiktor!
Wiktor has been very very busy since we have been off from school. He wanted to show everyone his medal collection, which he is very proud of and brought some in to school to show us before. He has been enjoying the sunny weather and is spending lots of time outside gardening, building things, jumping on his trampoline and climbing trees! Check out the cool birdhouse he made! He has also been brushing up on his baking skills, like many of his friends. Those cookies look very tasty, I'm sure they tasted delicious!
