We had a great day during our Art Clayotics experience. The consistency of the clay was so interesting and it was nice and easy to use.

Yesterday we celebrated our Sports Day. We had so much fun. We had a variety of races, a dance lesson, penalty shoot out, parachute fun, skipping and so many other games. Luckily we had a warm, dry day which meant we could stay outdoors all day. Here are some photos of our day.
Well done to David N our Star of the Week this week. David has shown positivity, focus and kindness towards others. Great job David!
This week we had lots of fun learning about capacity and its meaning. We engaged in some hands on learning to see what the capacity was for different size containers. Thankfully we didn't flood the classroom.
Congratulation Alex, our Star of the Week! From the beginning of the year you have shown excellent behaviour, listening skills and participation in class. You present you work neatly and always try to reach your potential. Well done!

Last week we had great fun for both Art, Science and STEM. We created a solar system diorama. In other words a solar system in a shoebox. After painting the background of the shoebox black to replicate the sky we then created the eight planets and a sun. We traced different size circular shapes to match the shapes of the planets and then we got to paint them. We threaded string through a tiny hole in the box and stuck the planets to this string. We are very proud of the finished product and now know the names of the planets and the order they come.
Congratulations to Aaron, our Star of the Week for this week. Aaron has made huge progress in his listening skills, presents his work neatly at all times and shows great focus in all of our lessons. Well done Aaron.
